A B2B website redesign costs $1,000 to $5,000 with a freelancer, $20,000 to $45,000 with a boutique studio, and $25,000 to $100,000 or more with a B2B web agency like Bop Design, Blend or Huemor. Page count rarely sets the price; templates, content, a CMS migration and the number of approvers do. We charge from $20,000 for a Website Sprint, or $25,000 to $40,000 with the brand.

Congrats on the round. Investors bought the next chapter. Does your website still sell the last one?

Below is what fixing it costs, with every studio's number taken from its own site on October 16, 2026.

TL;DR

  • Pre-PMF or mid-pivot: don't redesign yet. A Framer template on the $10-a-month Basic plan (billed yearly), or a site built with Claude Code, will carry you until the pivot settles.
  • Design decided, small site: hire a freelancer. Upwork lists $1,000 to $5,000 for a website redesign.
  • Funded, moving upmarket, one or two people deciding: hire a boutique studio, $20,000 to $45,000, often with the brand work included.
  • 20+ pages with copy, a CMS migration, HubSpot, or a committee: hire a B2B web agency, $25,000 to $100,000 and up, over 12 to 20 weeks.

What a website redesign costs, by who builds it

Who builds the site moves the price more than anything in your brief. This is what each option publishes on its own site, checked on October 16, 2026.

Sources, checked October 16, 2026: Framer, Webflow, Upwork, Metabrand, C42D, Bop Design, Blend, Huemor, Ramotion, Webstacks (hourly rate from Clutch), Designjoy and Superside. Ours is on Contra.

We're one row in this table, and we sell that tier. So every other figure links to the studio's own page, checked on the same day, and the one directory figure (Clutch, for Webstacks) is labeled.

For scale, the wider market is cheaper than B2B work. In GoodFirms' 2026 survey of 300+ web development firms in 31 countries, 63% of agencies quote fixed-price website projects at $1,000 to $15,000. The most common estimate for an enterprise site was $20,000 to $50,000, picked by 36% of respondents.

Clutch, working from its reviews, puts the average agency-built site at about $66,000.

The jump from a boutique studio to a B2B web agency buys three things: copy, a bigger build team, and a process for more pages and more stakeholders. Huemor's 12 to 16 weeks cover research, messaging, wireframing, custom design, development and QA.

If you need all of that, the agency price is fair. If you need a sharp site that says one thing well, you're paying for capacity you won't use.

Price and quality don't line up neatly across these tiers. David Walsh, a three-time founder and the CEO of Limelight, has hired big-name website agencies, top-rated Upwork freelancers and designers with huge followings over twelve years.

After working with us, he wrote on LinkedIn: "over the last 12 years, I've worked with: Big-name website agencies. 'Top-rated' Upwork freelancers. Designers with huge followings. And none came close."

Timelines follow the same tiers. Metabrand starts projects at three to four weeks. C42D runs six to eight weeks at $20,000 and 8 to 16+ at $45,000, and we take six to eight weeks for brand plus website.

Huemor runs 12 to 16 weeks, Bop Design 16 to 20, and Webstacks 90 to 120 days. For where the weeks go, see how long a startup rebrand takes.

What actually moves the price

Page count is not what you pay for. Templates, content and sign-offs are.

Orbix Studio puts it in one line: "Complexity, not page count, sets the price: strategy, integrations, and content decide the number." BRIX Templates, which sells Webflow templates, estimates the same 10-page Webflow site at anywhere from $5,000 to $35,000, depending on who builds it. Same pages, a 7x spread.

  • Unique templates. Designing and building a page layout is the expensive part. A page that reuses an existing template is mostly content entry. So a large site built from a handful of templates can cost less than a small one where every page is custom.
  • Copy and content. Someone has to write every page. Bop Design includes copywriting and SEO in sites from $25,000. If copy isn't in your quote, the writing lands back on your team.
  • CMS and migration. Moving from WordPress to Webflow or a headless CMS means moving every page and post, and redirecting every old URL. Webstacks sells migrations as a service of their own.
  • Integrations. CRM forms, gated content, product data. If your marketing runs on HubSpot, Blend builds exclusively on it, from $45,000.
  • Build platform. A Webflow or Framer site is cheaper to build, and your marketing team can edit it without an engineer. Custom code on Next.js costs more up front and usually needs an engineer for changes. We build on all three.
  • Motion and illustration. Custom animation and illustration add design and build time to every page they touch.
  • Approvers. Every extra person who signs off adds a review round. One founder deciding is the cheapest line in any quote, which is why our Brand Sprint listing asks for one decision-maker on your side.

Your team's time is a cost too. Content, reviews and sign-offs come from your side of the table, whichever option you pick.

What our last 17 website projects looked like

We counted the 17 website projects we finished between September 2025 and October 2026, from our own project records. The client owned the final copy on every one of them.

  • Copy came from the client. On all 17, the client wrote or signed off the final copy. We drafted first passes on 5.
  • Templates, not pages. Three were a single page. The largest had 32 pages, and its product and legal pages came from four templates.
  • Platforms. Seven run on Webflow and six in custom code, at least three of them on Next.js. Three run on Framer, and one we can't confirm.
  • Moves. Three moved platforms during the project, all of them off Framer: two to Webflow and one to Next.js with Sanity.
  • Who built it. We built 13 ourselves and split one with the client's developer. On three, the client's own team built from our designs.

We counted these from our Slack project channels on October 16, 2026. Projects older than those channels aren't in the count.

The costs a website quote leaves out

The build invoice is not the whole bill. GoodFirms' 2026 guide puts the two-year cost of a professionally built site at 150% to 200% of the first invoice, once hosting, maintenance, content, integrations and new features are counted.

  • Copy, photography and product screenshots, unless the quote names them.
  • Redirects. Every old URL needs a 301 redirect to its new home. Google's guidance on site moves says to keep redirects for at least a year, and to expect rankings to fluctuate while Google catches up.
  • Platform plans. Webflow's paid site plans start at $15 a month, billed yearly, with editor seats from $15 a month. Framer runs $10 a month on Basic and $30 on Pro, billed yearly, plus $20 a month for each extra editor.
  • Integrations and tracking. CRM forms, analytics, consent banners. Small jobs, but someone has to own them.
  • Changes after launch. Your team in the CMS, a freelancer, or a retainer. Ours starts at $6,000 a month for the same team that built the site.

Refresh, redesign or rebuild?

Pick a refresh if your positioning still holds, a redesign if the site's structure is the problem, and a rebrand plus a new site if what the company argues has changed. A website redesign changes the structure, the templates and usually the copy of a site that already exists.

  • A refresh keeps your structure, your CMS and your copy, and changes the visual layer. It's the cheapest scope, and the right one when the positioning still holds.
  • A redesign changes the structure, the templates and usually the copy. It's the scope most website quotes price.
  • A rebrand plus a new site changes what the company looks and sounds like, then builds the site on it. With us, that's $25,000 to $40,000 over six to eight weeks.

Monumint is a recent example: a full rebrand plus a one-page Framer site, seven weeks from kickoff to public launch, with the brand direction and logo locked around week four.

The order matters. If what the company argues has changed, a new site on old positioning won't hold.

In 18 of our projects where we could see what changed first, the website came first in only 4. Positioning or the visual identity led in the other 14.

Our own Website Sprint listing answers "Do we need a brand first?" with "Ideally yes, we'll flag it on the discovery call." If that's you, start with what a startup rebrand and website cost.

What to have ready before you ask for quotes

A specific brief gets comparable quotes. A vague one gets padded quotes, because every studio prices in what you didn't tell them.

  • Your top pages. Export your top 50 URLs by clicks from Google Search Console. They decide what has to survive the redesign and what needs a redirect.
  • The positioning, or a decision to fix it first. A studio can't design a homepage around an argument you haven't settled.
  • A content owner. Name who writes or approves the copy, and say whether you want the studio to write it.
  • The CMS decision. Keep the current one, or move. Moving adds migration and redirects to every quote.
  • Your integrations. List every form, CRM field and tool the site talks to.
  • One decision-maker and a date. Every extra approver adds a round. A fixed date, like a launch, a raise or a conference, keeps the scope honest.

Our price, and why we print it

PIXELUP LABS' Website Sprint starts at $20,000 on Contra. The listing covers a positioning audit, information architecture, full visual design, motion where it earns its place, and the build in Framer, Webflow or Next.js.

Brand plus website is $25,000 to $40,000, over six to eight weeks. Across seven brand-plus-website projects, our median from kickoff to launch or handoff was 7.6 weeks. Retainers start at $6,000 a month.

Two recent sites: Streamline, a legal AI company at Series A, got brand identity, positioning, a website, a design system and a Webflow build from us. Henry Labs got positioning, brand, website and product design, and its Webflow site went live in May 2026.

The work is for one thing: when an enterprise buyer lands on the site, they stop hesitating. We won't promise you a conversion number. Nobody can, honestly, before the site exists.

We print the price because it filters. If $20,000 is wrong for you, you know before a call, and so do we.

We're not alone in that. Of the nine other studios on this page, eight publish a starting price or a minimum on their own site. Webstacks is the exception, so there you find out on a call.

See our prices on Contra.

When a cheaper or bigger option is the right call

We lose these, and we should.

  • You're pre-PMF. If you're still finding PMF, don't hire us. Use a template and Claude Code, honestly. Come back after the pivot settles.
  • The design is done and you need it built. A freelancer or a Webflow developer is cheaper and faster. We're not a pair of hands.
  • You need new pages every week, not a redesign. Designjoy runs $4,995 a month, one request at a time, with Webflow development included.
  • You want the copy written for you. Bop Design includes copywriting and SEO in B2B sites from $25,000, over 16 to 20 weeks.
  • Your marketing runs on HubSpot. Blend builds exclusively on HubSpot, from $45,000 for a bespoke site.
  • It's a large SaaS site with a deep content library. Huemor puts most SaaS redesigns at $50,000 to $100,000 over 12 to 16 weeks. Webstacks says it completes client websites in 90 to 120 days. We're built for brand plus a focused site, not a 100-page migration.
  • You want traffic from the redesign. We fix how you're perceived. Your growth team fights the volume war. We make sure every impression they buy lands harder.

How we know

PIXELUP LABS has shipped 35 projects for funded B2B and AI-native startups, and every public review is 5.0: eight on Contra and one on Clutch. We're a seven-person studio, San Francisco with the production studio in Bangalore, and we publish our prices.

Every studio figure on this page comes from the studio's own site, checked on October 16, 2026, except Webstacks' hourly rate, which is Clutch's. The survey and marketplace figures come from GoodFirms, Clutch and Upwork, linked where they appear.

FAQ

Why do two website redesign quotes for the same brief differ so much?

Because they price different work. One includes copy, a CMS migration and integrations; the other assumes you hand over finished content and keep your CMS. BRIX Templates estimates a 10-page Webflow site at anywhere from $5,000 to $35,000, depending on who builds it. Compare what's inside each number before you compare the numbers.

Is it cheaper to redesign a website or rebuild it from scratch?

Redesigning on your current CMS is cheaper. Rebuilding on a new one means moving every page and post and redirecting every old URL. Huemor puts a 30-page SaaS site with custom design, CRM integration and copywriting at about four to five months with a full agency team. If your team can edit the current CMS and it isn't holding you back, redesign on top of it.

Can we redesign our website without rebranding?

Yes, if your positioning still holds and only the execution has drifted. Our Website Sprint starts at $20,000 without brand work, and brand plus website is $25,000 to $40,000. If the company's argument has changed, a new site on old positioning means paying twice.

How much does a Webflow or Framer website cost to build and run?

Building one costs what any redesign costs. Upwork lists $1,500 to $5,000 for a 3 to 7 page Webflow business site from a freelancer, and the boutique studios we checked start at $20,000. Running it costs the plan: Webflow's paid site plans start at $15 a month and Framer's at $10, billed yearly, plus editor seats.

How much does website maintenance cost after a redesign?

More than the plan fee. GoodFirms' 2026 guide puts a professionally built site's two-year cost at 150% to 200% of the first invoice, once hosting, maintenance, content, integrations and new features are counted. Small edits can stay with your team in Webflow or Framer. Ongoing design work runs on a retainer; ours starts at $6,000 a month.

Does a website redesign hurt SEO, and what does protecting it cost?

It can, when URLs change without redirects. Google says to expect rankings to fluctuate during a move and to keep redirects for at least a year. Changing domains is the riskiest version: in a June 2026 study by SALT.agency, an SEO agency, the median site among 1,052 domain migrations took 304 days to recover its organic traffic. Protecting yours means a redirect map built before launch, so ask whether it's in the quote.

How much does a B2B website redesign cost per page?

Per-page prices mislead, because templates drive the cost. At Ramotion, $45,000 buys the design of about seven pages, with development priced separately. Bop Design says its B2B sites average about $45,000 and describes an average build as 20 standard pages, with copy, SEO and development included. Ask for the number of unique templates instead.

How should we compare website redesign quotes before signing?

Ask five things: how many unique templates, who writes the copy, whether migration and redirects are in, which CMS your team will edit after launch, and who from the studio actually does the work. Then ask about commitment. Superside's minimum is $15,000 a month on an annual term, which is a different decision from a fixed project fee. Compare the answers before you compare the totals.
